April is National IBS Awareness Month! Hooray, we get our own month! Started in 1997, IBS Awareness month is meant to focus attention on the need for more research, more educational opportunities, and better care for IBS patients. Here's a link to more information:
Bread is oh so good! But gluten can be oh so bad!
One of the best things I've done to manage my IBS symptoms is to eat gluten-free. The results were amazing! Now, there is a lot of controversy over whether this actually helps with IBS and I found research on both sides. But, it definitely worked for me and improved my overall health, not just my IBS.
